3D Felting Workshop November 16th 10-3
3D Felting Workshop November 16th 10-3
In this one day workshopwith Lyndsi Schuesler, we will explore making 3D objects from wool using wet-felting through three quick projects. We will start with a small 2d piece for practice. Then learn to use a flat shape pattern to make 3d vessels (bowl, vase, or fun shape) Bring in an object from home, and we will create felt fabric around it. This can either be left on to conceal your object or cut off to make a negative of its shape. Please keep objects smaller than your fist. Any solid object you can safely wash with hot water and soap will work.
If you're interested in dying your own roving for this workshop, also sign up for “Acid Dye for Wool Roving and Yarn” on November 2nd.
